Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SHATTA MOVEMENT, with an address at Accra, Ghana ("Operator", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information through the Service.

1. Legal and Compliance Baseline

The Service is designed with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), Data Protection Commission expectations, Ghana electronic transaction principles, and general international privacy transparency principles in mind.

Because the Service collects and processes personal data, the Operator should register or confirm registration with Ghana's Data Protection Commission where required and maintain appropriate records for the data it processes.

2. Information We Collect

Fan and community information: full name, fan number, email, phone, WhatsApp, country, city, social handles, favorite songs, fan-since year, fanbase chapter, registration date, verification status, Gold Card details, premium number details, payment proof path, reviews, ratings, and comments.

Vendor and marketplace information: email, password hash, role, full name, business name, phone, WhatsApp, location, category, social links, trust badge, verification status, ID card uploads, selfies, Mobile Money number, bank details, subscription information, payment references, proof uploads, flyers, videos, product images, descriptions, prices, contact details, AI risk scores, AI warnings, captions, hashtags, reports, blacklist records, and admin notes.

Digital content and payment information: music purchase item IDs, item type, phone number, amount, reference ID, payment status, stream tokens, access status, and payment metadata from Paystack, MTN Mobile Money, Mobile Money operators, or banks.

Technical, security, and device information: IP address, browser and device information, request path, timestamps, session cookies, CSRF tokens, rate limit events, audit logs, security events, error logs, local storage, session storage, service worker cache, and PWA cache.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to register fans and vendors, create and verify fan numbers and cards, process payments, review subscriptions and promotions, display approved public information, provide dashboards and support, moderate content, detect fraud, manage reports and blacklists, generate AI-assisted moderation signals, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Public Information and Visibility

Some information may be visible publicly or semi-publicly, including fan name, fan number, country, city, fanbase chapter, fan card, Gold Card status, Gold member listing, verification page, QR code, vendor business name, category, location, contact details, trust badge, approved promotions, product media, prices, descriptions, reviews, announcements, and community statistics.

Do not submit information you do not want used for the Service. If you want information corrected or removed, contact support@shattamovementfanbase.com.

5. AI-Assisted Moderation and Review

Vendor submissions may be checked using automated or AI-assisted tools for scam keywords, suspicious offers, prohibited categories, image quality, contact consistency, blacklist matches, and related risk signals. These tools may generate risk scores, warnings, captions, and hashtags for admin review.

6. Cookies, Sessions, and Browser Storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep users logged in, protect forms and admin tools, remember access status for purchased or unlocked content, support language choices, cache assets for faster loading, and improve reliability and security.

You can control cookies and storage through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or storage may prevent login, payments, streaming access, or dashboard features from working correctly.

7. How We Share Information

We may share information with payment processors and Mobile Money providers, hosting and database providers, storage and deployment providers, technical service providers, admins and moderators, public users where information is displayed through the Service, legal or regulatory authorities, professional advisers, and successor organizations if the Service is reorganized or transferred.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling user data for money. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required notice or opt-out mechanism.

8. International Users and Transfers

The Service may be accessed by users in Ghana and other countries. Information may be processed or stored in Ghana or other countries where our hosting, payment, or technical providers operate. Where required, we will take reasonable steps to protect transferred personal information using appropriate contracts, safeguards, and provider review.

9. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain records, verify payments, resolve disputes, support users, enforce Terms, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and maintain backups.

The Operator should set and review detailed retention periods before launch, especially for sensitive documents such as IDs, selfies, bank details, Mobile Money details, and payment proofs.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information, such as hashed passwords, secure session cookie settings, access controls, admin authentication, upload restrictions, rate limiting, security headers, audit logging, payment verification, and hosted database protections. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to ask whether we process your data, request access, request correction, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, object to direct marketing, request portability, and complain to a privacy regulator, including Ghana's Data Protection Commission where applicable.

To make a request, contact support@shattamovementfanbase.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Some requests may be limited by legal, security, payment, anti-fraud, accounting, public interest, or dispute-resolution reasons.

12. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information, contact support@shattamovementfanbase.com so we can review and take appropriate action.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, QR code providers, social media platforms, hosting providers, and vendor/customer communication channels. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to their services.

14. Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Service with a new effective date.
